Return and Refund Policy

**Return and Refund Policy:**
1. **Return Window:**
   - You have 14 days to return an item from the date of purchase.
   - Refunds or returns must be initiated within 10 calendar days of purchase.
2. **Eligibility for Returns:**
   - A valid invoice is required.
   - Items must be unused, in the same condition as received, and sealed in the original packaging.
   - Food items(MREs, rations, snacks, etc.) are not eligible for returns due to safety reasons.
3. **Inspection and Approval:**
   - Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
   - If approved, the refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 6-10 days.
4. **Partial Refunds:**
   - Granted in certain situations: 
     - Items not in original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
     - Items returned more than 10 days after delivery.
5. **Sale Items:**
   - Only regular priced items are eligible for refunds; sale items are non-refundable.
6. **Exchanges:**
   - We replace items only if they are defective or damaged.
   - For exchanges, email us at response@mrehouse.com
7. **Shipping Costs:**
   - Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
   - Shipping costs are non-refundable.
   - If you receive a refund, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.
   - Consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance for items over $75.
   - We do not guarantee receipt of your returned item.
8. **Lost or Stolen Packages:**
   - We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages (porch pirates).
9. **Order Cancellation:**
   - Orders are processed daily. You can request a cancellation within 24 hours of placing your order, but it may not be possible to accommodate as we process and ship every day, including Sundays.
   - All sales are final once the order is placed.
10. **Emergency Events:**
    - We may suspend all returns and refunds at any time, at our discretion, for any reason during emergency events.
11. **International Orders:**
    - APO/FPO/DPO and internationally shipped orders are not eligible for returns or refunds.
12. **Customs:**
    - Customers assume all responsibility for duties, charges, taxes, and any issues caused by customs, border agencies, or other governmental institutions. Please check your country’s import laws before purchase.
